A gift to the Kiwanis Children's Fund helps children in many places, in many ways. For the Kiwanis family, the Children's Fund is a way of reaching children through grants, scholarship programs, and Kiwanis youth programs.
A gift doesn't always have to be in the form of money. Volunteering gives you an opportunity to change people's lives, including your own. It gives you the satisfaction of playing a role in someone else's life, helping people who may not be able to help themselves. Volunteering is a way of giving back to your community while developing important social skills and gaining valuable work experience all at the same time.
We are proud to introduce the Kiwanis Club of Big Apple NY-USA, a club with a big mission to alleviate lives and opportunities for children in need around the world. The club is spearheaded by Sandy Liew, the appointed lieutenant governor by Kiwanis International, whose tolerance and experience in volunteering and organizing charitable events are ideal elements to push the club's mission to success. Let us all chip in to assist in this great cause, because in the end, what goes around comes around.
